As citizens of the world richest nation, it is our moral responsibility to lead the effort to ensure a healthier and more prosperous future for the next generation.  Spiritual leaders throughout the nation recognize the impact global warming will have on the world's inhabitants, particularly the most poor and disadvantaged among us.

Global climate change will affect all aspects of human life; from the air we breathe, to the water we drink, to the food we eat.  It is the responsibility of each and every one of us to act as responsible stewards of the earth, and work to ensure a healthy climate for generations to come.
